Tyee

The current Propain Tyee platform, introduced for 2023, is a modern enduro bike built around 160 mm of rear travel and a 170 mm fork, with a clear focus on balancing descending composure with day-to-day usability. Rather than changing the core concept of the Tyee, Propain reworked the PRO10 suspension layout through revised links and pivot positions to tune leverage progression, anti-squat, anti-rise, pedal kickback, and axle path. The result is a bike aimed at riders who want a more consistent and supportive suspension feel under hard braking and repeated impacts, without giving up climbing efficiency. Compatibility with both air and coil shocks also broadens its appeal for riders who want to fine-tune feel and support around their terrain and riding style.

What distinguishes this generation is how much attention Propain paid to integration, modularity, and noise control without turning the bike into a closed system. The frame introduced headset-based Acros ICR routing developed with Sixpack, extensive frame protection, and routing solutions intended to keep the chassis quiet on rough trails. At the same time, the platform was designed around configurable wheel options, including size-specific wheel concepts and a flip chip that allows either full 29er or mixed-wheel setups while preserving intended geometry. Later updates on the same frame platform also added the option of conventional internal routing alongside the integrated setup, reinforcing the Tyee's place in the market as a highly configurable, rider-focused enduro chassis rather than a one-size-fits-all race bike.
